Life has its own unique journey; it has been my passion to understand my own journey and to help others. This has led me to working with youth, families and various systems that serve them. During this process my interest grew in providing support and building capacity in helping individuals to navigate their challenges and to help transform aspects of their lives. I’m truly invested in supporting my clients to put things into perspective and helping them to make sense of their own realities and situations.
The therapeutic relationship is one of the key aspects for growth. I find value in connecting in a unique manner with each client and I feel privileged to a part of the journey.
I align myself with a client centered and strength-based perspective rooted in the idea that you know yourself best and you have access to your own internal resources. I work collaboratively with each client in a didactical yet client centered approach. My therapeutic style is flexible and tailored to suit the needs of each individual.
We all sometimes get lost or distracted and I am here to connect with you to support you. I provide a supportive, caring, and non-judgemental environment in which we work together to maximize your emotional well-being. I look forward to learning more about you and your strengths. I create a welcoming space for all voices to be heard. I have been in this field for almost 30 years. I have a social work background as well as a Child and youth background.
I am here to help you to fulfill your hopes and dreams as you journey through life's different chapters!
Life has its best and difficult moments, however, keep the faith!
