I am a dedicated and compassionate professional with extensive experience working with victims of trauma in diverse settings. My expertise lies in employing various
therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic
Psychotherapy, Dying and Bereavement Therapy, Eating Disorders Treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing training (EMDR), Mindfulness, Couples Therapy, LGBTQ+ individual therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy for Grief,
Motivational Interviewing, Trauma and Addiction Dual Certification, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), as well as being certified in Mental Health First Aid.

Throughout my career, I have provided unwavering support to clients affected by neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, and various mental health challenges. I specialize in creating a collaborative and meaningful treatment plan tailored to individual needs, fostering a therapeutic environment. As a therapist, I use a strength-based, client-focused approach. I bring many qualities to the organization such as empathy, collaboration, and communication. These qualities form the foundation of my approach to working with people, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs, and healing.

I am a Registered Social Worker with an Honours degree in Social Work (HBSW) I have completed my master’s in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Windsor. I am particularly interested in working with individuals who have experienced different forms of trauma, abuse, addictions, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I create a safe space to empower individuals, so they feel heard. Committing to reach out for help is a courageous first step and I am here to compassionately, empathetically, and respectfully be here for you. I want you to feel that this is your safe space.
